In 1992, we took over the property to operate it directly. It was then that a plan to replant the vineyard , modernize the wine cellar  and restore the chateau to receive guests began . We have decided to perpetuate together the "good life" of Château Carbonneau and to restore its wine to its former glory, while sharing a rich and varied heritage that goes from England to Russia, passing through France and New Zealand . Our family has a long Périgord history on the side of the FRANC de FERRIERE, and a long New Zealand history on the side of the Jacquie family, but also the RAY –our children are the third generation of New Zealanders who live in Carbonneau .
